Heavyweight | Dangsheng New Materials Participate in the National Key R&D Program of the Ministry of Science and Technology

Recently, the annual progress inspection meeting and project coordination and promotion meeting of the "High Safety Active Protection Green Epidemic Prevention Materials and Industrial Application Demonstration" project of the National Key R&D Program of the Ministry of Science and Technology, led by General Technology China Textile Science Research Institute Co., Ltd., was held in Shanghai.


Zhu Meifang, academician of the CAS Member, Wang Jun, professor of South China University of Technology, Yang Huai, professor of Peking University, and Xu Jigang, deputy general manager of the Chinese Academy of Textile Technology attended the meeting. The meeting was presided over by Yu Hao, executive vice president of the Graduate School of Donghua University, and the annual progress inspection meeting was presided over by Zhu Meifang.




This project was successfully approved and approved in November 2022. It aims to address major national demand issues such as poor mechanical and comfortable properties of existing epidemic prevention products, susceptibility to virus infection, and environmental pollution caused by extensive use. The project is committed to solving the problems of large-scale preparation of new polymer micro and nano fibers, the contradiction between micro and nano fiber fineness and strength, the relationship between micro pore control and comfort of fiber assemblies, and the active and passive collaborative protection of epidemic prevention products. It aims to achieve the production and application of high safety and active protection green epidemic prevention materials, while also building the international discourse power of high-performance epidemic prevention materials in China.
